Hail The Messenger!

Does it matter where we get our information from? Is there only a certain source you will believe, no matter what, because...well...it's such-and-such and you like them?

Here's a thought for the day: step outside your information comfort zone. Get the bigger picture, as much as you can. Talk to anyone (without being rude about it). Get opinions, comments, thoughts, and ideas from other people or other source.

The result: I am 99.9% sure you will have a slightly different story than what you thought you knew.

Reason for doing this: Each source, whether intentional or not, has a bias of their own that they filter the information through that they pass along. Maybe it's a bias you stand with, maybe not. Either way, if you're one of those people like me who cares more about hard facts and the truth rather then loyalty to an information source, you need to broaden your horizons. Think outside boxes, reach for the hidden, dig for what really happened.
